F3 Testing: 2023 Pre-season Testing Lineups & Schedule

F3 Testing

The 2023 Formula 3 season is officially underway as pre-season testing begins at the Bahrain International Circuit.

Same as Formula 2, the pre-season Formula 3 testing will take place between February 14th to the 16th as drivers prepare for the upcoming season in March. There are 17 rookies on this year’s grid who will be using these days to prepare for the opening round in Bahrain. There are two sessions: morning (AM) and afternoon (PM).

Changes for 2023

Sophie Floersch makes an unexpected return to Formula 3 since her debut in 2020. Zak O’Sullivan, Franco Colapinto, and Jonny Edgar have all switched from their 2022 teams as they hope to find more success this season. Carlin Racing, Charouz Racing, and Hitech Grand Prix have been rebranded as Rodin Carlin, PHM Racing by Charouz Racing, and Hitech Pulse Eight. With 29 out of the 30 drivers confirmed, Hitech will run 2022 GB3 champion Luke Browning to determine if he’s worthy of the final seat.

Testing will run from 9:00 – 11:30 (AM) to 14:30 – 17:00 (PM) local time for three days starting on Tuesday. Live timings can be found here. Here are the F3 testing lineups:
