The start of the 2023 Formula 2 season is officially underway as drivers participate in a three-day test to get themselves ready.

From February 14th till the 16th, Formula 2 drivers will be participating in the three-day pre-season test at the Bahrain International Circuit. With ten Formula 3 graduates on the grid, these days are crucial for them to understand the car before the first race starts on March 4th on the same circuit. The days are split up into two sessions: morning (AM) and afternoon (PM) where each driver will have the opportunity to test out different tires and set-ups.

Changes for 2023

Juan Manuel Correa returns full-time to Formula 3 for the first time since 2019. Correa and Zane Maloney made guest appearances in the 2022 season finale at Abu Dhabi with their current teams. Carlin Racing, Charouz Racing, and Hitech Grand Prix have been rebranded as Rodin Carlin, Hitech Pulse Eight, and PHM Racing by Charouz after new partnerships were announced in the off-season.
