Formula 3 rookie Kush Maini is the latest to graduate to Formula 2. He’ll be racing for Campos Racing for the 2023 Formula 2 season.
Formula 3 rookie Kush Maini is joining a list of several Formula 3 drivers who are graduating to Formula 2 for the 2023 season. He is the third driver to graduate and the seventh to overall be confirmed. Maini will be racing alongside Ralph Boschung next season.
Maini’s 2022 Campaign
After struggling to secure a full-time racing seat for the 2021 season, instead opting for the F3 Asian Championship. Maini’s luck changed when he was able to secure a seat with MP Motorsport for the 2022 Formula 3 Championship. Racing alongside Franco Colapinto and Alexander Smolyer, Maini finished the championship in fourteenth – behind both his teammates – after taking one podium.
Maini’s season was riddled with both mechanical and driving errors. However, Maini has admitted to his mistakes and put them down to ‘being rusty’. With the 2023 season being his second full season in the F1 feeder series, can he improve on his results and race-craft?

I would like to thank Mumbai Falcons, Omega Seiki Mobility and JK Racing for all their support”

“He is a very committed, professional racing driver with a great work capacity, so we expect he will be able to complete a strong rookie season next year.
