Rory Goes Back-To-Back At Augusta

It certainly took him long enough to earn his first green jacket, and while Jim Nantz’s call Sunday may not be as powerful as the one we saw in 2025, it’s still a huge moment as McIlroy becomes just the fourth golfer ever to repeat as Masters champion.  There may have been some broadcast snafus near the end of the final round, but the roar of the crowd at Augusta National can bring you back to why CBS’s coverage is still one of the best shows of the year.

Usually a home run by Nick Castellanos is matched up to some world-changing event (or a broadcaster being caught saying something unsavory on a hot mic), but this time, we see Castellanos get robbed by Rockies outfielder Jordan Beck.  The call comes from Drew Goodman on Rockies TV.
