Popular Brands Used by PGA’s Biggest Stars

While many PGA Tour stars will tell you that their successes are down to their skills and determination, many of them also rely heavily on their equipment in their bid for success. That’s why different players use different brands. Every club, ball, and putter can play a big role in how a golfer performs on the course. PGA Tour stars choose brands they trust and these companies have earned their place through performance and years of delivering results.

Top Brands Used By PGA Tour Stars

Titleist

Titleist is one of the leading brands when it comes to golf balls and irons. The Titleist Pro V1 is  the most used golf ball on tour. A large number of professionals rely on it because it gives them control and consistency. Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas are two of the biggest PGA Tour stars who use this brand. Titleist focuses on precision and players use it to control spin, shape shots, and stay consistent across all rounds.

TaylorMade

TaylorMade has built a strong reputation for power and new ideas. Many top players choose its drivers and fairway woods. The brand became popular when it introduced adjustable drivers and that innovation gave players more control over how the ball flies. Today, TaylorMade drivers still rank among the most used on tour. TaylorMade helps players hit the ball farther without losing control. That balance makes it a favorite among aggressive golfers. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler uses TaylorMade equipment.

Callaway

Callaway gives players a complete package, and it’s one of the big brands most synonymous with golf. It produces drivers, irons, wedges, and balls that perform well across all areas of the game. Many PGA Tour stars use Callaway because the club still performs well even when a shot is not perfect. Callaway continues to attract players who want steady performance from tee to green.

Oakley

Surprised to see Oakley on our list? Not traditionally recognized as a golf brand, the staggering number of players wearing Oakley sunglasses is important to note. As important as paintball players wearing the best paintball goggles, a golfer without sunglasses would be in serious trouble. And Oakley is far and away the biggest brand on Tour, used by the game’s biggest stars. Oakley Prizm Golf is the go-to standard. It separates the grass like traditional sunglasses can’t. Warmer tones like amber are more popular than grays and blacks, and most opt not for polarized lenses. Oakley Flak 2.0 XL are the most popular model in 2026.

Srixon

Srixon is also one of the most popular brands used by stars on the PGA Tour. Its irons, especially the ZX series, have gained attention among professionals. The brand also produces high-quality golf balls that compete with the best. Shane Lowry and Hideki Matsuyama are just two PGA Tour stars who uses Srixon equipment while other stars also trust Srixon for its  feel and control.

Mizuno

Mizuno has built its name on irons, and players still rate them among the best in golf, although many PGA Tour stars mix Mizuno irons with other brands. The brand has also started pushing into drivers. Grayson Murray and Keith Mitchell have both used the ST-X 230. Its T24 and T22 wedges also show up in several tour bags.

PXG

PXG is a newer brand, but it has made an impact. The brand focuses on premium clubs with bold designs. Its 0311 Sugar Daddy wedges have won over a number of PGA Tour players. Eric Cole stands out as one of its biggest supporters. PXG also produces drivers, irons, and putters, including the 0311 Black Ops driver. Not many players use it yet, but it has caught attention. The brand continues to grow on tour.
