The PGA Tour’s fifth signature event of the season starts on Thursday on the Hilton Head Island in South Carolina with the RBC Heritage at the Harbour Town Golf Links. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler will be looking to win another RBC Heritage Plaid Jacket after his victory last year.
Scheller followed up his victory at the Augusta National last year by beating Saith Theegala by three shots at the RBC Heritage to become the first player since Bernhard Langer in 1985 to win the Masters and then the RBC Heritage. The 28-year-old banked $3.6M from his victory last year and this year’s RBC Heritage winner will also bag a similar amount.
RBC Heritage 2025 Winner to Get $3.6m Payout
The 2025 RBC Heritage is offering a $20 million purse, with the winner going home with $3.6 million, the same amount Scheffler took home last year. This year’s runner-up is set for a $2.16 million payout, while the top 11 finishers are all guaranteed a minimum $500,000 payout. In addition to the financial reward, the winner will also receive a projected 64.7 world ranking points and 700 FedEx Cup points.
Forty-three of the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking will be at Harbour Town, and 56 players who competed in the Masters are also teeing off for a second straight week, including runner-up Justin Rose, fourth-place Scheffler, and others.
