2025 Rocket Classic Payout Breakdown: What the Winner and Runners-Up Earn at Detroit

This year’s edition of the Rocket Classic has seen a significant increase in prize money compared to last year’s edition. The PGA Tour event comes with a $9.6 million prize purse, an increase of $400,000 over last year’s tournament, which was won by Australian Cam Davis. Davis took home $1,656,000 for his remarkable victory.

What Will The Winners And Runners-Up Earn At The Rocket Classic?

Aldrich Potgieter defeated Max Greyserman and Chris Kirk in a playoff to win his first PGA Tour title. Potgieter will walk away with $1,728,000 for the victory. This payout reflects the standard 18 percent share of the total purse. The runner-up, Max Greyserman, will go home with $1,046,000. The difference between first and second remains significant, but both positions guarantee life-changing paydays. Third-place finisher Chris Kirk will earn $662,400.

The payouts continue to reward strong finishes down the leaderboard. Fourth place will secure $470,400, while fifth place earns $393,600. The sixth-place finisher will take home $348,000. Players who finish seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth will collect $324,000, $300,000, $280,800, and $261,600, respectively.

The Rocket Mortgage Classic also offers solid payouts for those outside the top ten. Players who finish between 11th and 20th will earn between $127,200 and $223,200. Positions 21 through 25 will bring in payouts ranging from $84,960 to $117,600.

Every player who makes the cut will leave Detroit with prize money. Those who finish between 26th and 40th will earn between $41,760 and $77,280. The prize money drops steadily for players further down the leaderboard, but even those lower in the standings will take home a portion of the $9.6 million purse.
