The 2026 Open Championship field is finally complete, with 156 players set to compete in the 154th Open Championship for one of golf’s most prestigious prizes, the Claret Jug. The world’s best professionals, former champions, rising stars, and leading amateurs will gather at Royal Birkdale for the final men’s major of the season.

This year’s championship returns to Royal Birkdale for the first time since Jordan Spieth’s memorable victory in 2017. The famous Southport course has undergone several changes since then, but it still promises the same demanding test that has made it one of the most respected venues on The Open rota.
