Carter joins Jackson Woodard (UNLV), Maxwell Hairston (Kentucky), Carlton Johnson (Fresno State), Ron Stone, Jr. (Washington State), and Travis Hunter (Colorado).

Finally, the Senior Bowl names players of the week each week, and Carter shared the Week 5 honor with Texas A&M’s Nic Scourton. Other honorees thus far this year include Jalon Walker (Georgia), Nick Martin (Oklahoma State), Savon Revel, Jr. (East Carolina), and Josaiah Stewart (Michigan).

Carter and the Nittany Lions play host to UCLA this week. Penn State will look for more of the same from its star defender.
