For the past year, The Storm ’18 Class has been lauded as a top five class and is living up to the billing. Mark Richt and staff are certainly addressing many key areas for the Miami Hurricanes future with this class. Richt made many connections in the state of Georgia during his time as head coach of the Bulldogs that are paying dividends now for Miami. Realus George, the number one fullback in the nation out of Pace Academy in Atlanta, signed his letter of intent with the Miami Hurricanes.

Big Need For Mark Richt’s Offense
One of the areas that Miami struggled in this past season was short yardage and red zone situations. A key reason for that was due to the fact that Miami didn’t have a real fullback. So the 6’2″, 245 pound player has a chance to be a key component in Richt’s offense moving forward.
The signing of George ends his recruitment process. He had offers from many option-based schools such as Georgia Southern and Navy. He also had offers from FAU and Memphis. George will enroll at Miami in the summer.
