2022 Week Three Heisman Rankings

Last Word on College Football Heisman Rankings

Is it the running backs this year that could steal the show? With terrific performances from Saquan Barkley and Bryce Love the last couple of weeks this could be the year that a signal caller does not come home with the hardware. There have only been two running backs that have won the trophy with Derrick Henry in 2015 and Mark Ingram in 2009. Great individual plays once again stole the show this weekend. Barkley had a kickoff return for a touchdown in the opening play of the game against Indiana. Also, Love had touchdown runs of 61, 43 and 59 on his way to 301 yards on the ground against Arizona State.

RB | San Diego State                           Next Game: 10/07 @ UNLV

Penny had a solid performance against Northern Illinois on Saturday. It’s very important for a player like Penny for his team to remain undefeated. As a non power five team, to stay in contention for the Heisman his team must stay in contention for a New Years Six Bowl Game.
