Week Three, or as we are calling the “Week of the Dropped Touchdown”, was an exciting week full of prestigious programs facing off and Top 25 match-ups galore. North Dakota State almost became ranked after upsetting Iowa on the road. We gained some perspective on who are some of the real contenders, whereas some teams just about lost any hope of making the playoff. (Sorry Ole Miss, Notre Dame and Oklahoma.) Thus, we present our Week Three Review podcast.
LWOS CFB staff writer Yesh Ginsburg hops on the pod, with Austin, to discuss all the happenings from the world of college football. In order they review: Alabama vs Ole Miss, Michigan State vs Norte Dame, Ohio State vs Oklahoma, Florida State vs Louisville, North Dakota State vs Iowa and Oregon vs Nebraska.
Then they move on to discuss Houston and Michigan surviving upset attempts, Pitt vs Oklahoma State, a trio of SEC foes winning in-conference battles (Texas A&M/LSU/Georgia), plus all the Pac-12 night action including Stanford taking down USC, Cal getting a big home win against Texas, and BYU completing it’s Pac-12 play with a loss to UCLA.
