World #1 Carlos Alcaraz leads the 96-player singles draw.<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz is one of six players in the field who has lifted the Miami Open title, including Czech rising star Jakub Mensik, who stunned six-time champion Novak Djokovic in last year&#8217;s final to win his first Masters trophy. The tournament has compiled the list of wild card entrants for this year&#8217;s event, which begins on Wednesday, March 19.<\/p>\n<h2>ATP Miami Open: 5 ATP Players Receive Wild Cards<\/h2>\n<p>Darwin Blanch received a wild card in the tournament for a second time. Blanch made his Masters 1000 debut in Miami two years ago as a 16-year-old and lost in the first round to Tomas Machac. Now 18, he arrives in Miami on the back of a 6-6 record in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The second home player to receive a wild card is 22-year-old lefty Martin Damm. Damm made the third round on his main draw debut in 2024. After a promising start to 2026 in which he qualified for the Australian Open and reached his first ATP semifinal in Montpellier, Damm has lost his last three matches.<\/p>\n<p>ATP NextGen star Moise Kouame is the third wild card in the men&#8217;s draw. The 17-year-old Frenchman has impressed this year, winning two ITF titles and breaking the world&#8217;s top 400. Joining Kouame is another NextGen talent, Rei Sakamoto, who qualified for the main draw in Miami last season. This time, the 19-year-old Japanese will enter the main draw as a wild card.<\/p>\n<p>Completing the wild card list is former Chinese #1 Wu Yibing.
