As I predicted in the last round, both Elina Svitolina and Jessica Pegula made the final. Svitolina did so as a 2.3-1.7 underdog in the semifinals. As I usually do, we have the best bets for both of these players. If you agree with us or you made any money last round, be sure to let us know in the comments section.

WTA Dubai Final

Svitolina – Pegula: February 21st, 2026 07:00
H2H: 3-5

The WTA Dubai final is between two-time former winner Elina Svitolina and first-time finalist Jessica Pegula. These two women have a robust rivalry, including eight total matches between them. Pegula has five wins, and Svitolina has three. This will be their first finals match, with only one prior match making it later than the quarterfinals.

Svitolina has two victories within the last three matches. Svitolina also has a title at WTA Auckland, a semifinal at the WTA Australian Open, and a round-of-16 showing at WTA Doha. She’s 15-2 this year, playing some of her best tennis. This would be yet another early title, and would set her up perfectly going into spring. Her biggest problem is that her opponent is playing incredibly well, too.

Jessica Pegula has made the semifinals of every tournament in which she has played this year. Her last semifinal against Amanda Anisimova went exactly as I had predicted, with Anisimova continuing to buckle under the pressure of higher-ranked opposition. Pegula got off to nearly the worst start possible, but she turned around to win in three against Anisimova.

Best Bets to Make

Main Bet

The books have Jessica Pegula as a 2.3-1.62 favorite, on average. Svitolina can be found going as high as 2.39 on Betfair. I think Svitolina is going to win this match, and since 2.39 is the highest price, that’s where you should start. Svitolina has won two of their last three matches and has been playing outstanding tennis to start 2026. Pegula plays deep in many tournaments, but she doesn’t win very often.

That being said, Svitolina winning is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Alexandrova winning @2.39 @Betfair

Second Bet

If you think Pegula is absolutely going to win this, I would take her winning 2:1, since the match is likely to go three sets. At 4.2 on bwin, you’re going to make a significant chunk of change. Should Pegula win this one, I do think she’s going to have to fight for it. Svitolina no longer allows her an easy match, and you should account for that even if you’re picking the American. The more tepid option is taking Pegula 2:0 for 2.47 on 1xBet, but I think the former is the way to go.

That being said, Pegula winning is a value bet.

Value bet/the best odds: Pegula winning 2:1 @4.2 @bwin

Main Photo Credit: Robert Deutsch-Imagn Images

The WTA Dubai final is set on the women’s side.
