These two ladies will meet for the third time in their careers, with the series split at one apiece. Both matches were played this year. Pegula won their semifinal match on grass at WTA Bad Homburg in three sets. Noskova took their round of 16 hardcourt match in straight sets at WTA Dubai. Both ladies are phenomenal on a hardcourt this year. Pegula is 31-10 and Noskova is 21-13 in hardcourt matches during 2025.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Pegula as a solid favorite, and I understand why. While they’re both playing well, Pegula is doing slightly better. Pegula has already won three tournaments this year. She’s also lost a few finals this year, but she’s made the finals in five events, and the semifinals at the US Open, where she would lose to the eventual winner. Pegula is on a mission to prove she belongs back in the top five, and I think she’s going to sweep this match.

That being said, Pegula is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/the best odds: Pegula @1.59 @Betfair

Anisimova – Gauff: Time 09:00

H2H: 1-1

Amanda Anisimova vs Coco Gauff is our other semifinal match. Like Pegula and Noskova, these two ladies will also meet for the third time in their careers, tied at one apiece. Anisimova beat Gauff in three sets during the third round of the WTA Wimbledon 2022. Gauff beat Anisimova during the quarterfinals of WTA Parma 2021. It’s been at least three years since they’ve played, and both ladies enter the match with similar records. Gauff is 42-13 overall and 25-8 on a hardcourt in 2025. Anisimova is 43-16 overall and 23-9 on a hardcourt in 2025.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Gauff as the favorite, and it’s pretty unanimous. The overall difference between the two is right about .19, so they have confidence that Ansimova can with, they just think it will be Gauff. Gauff has two losses in her last ten matches; Anisimova has one. I honestly think Anisimova is going to win this one. I think she’s playing with a bit of determination right now, as she wants to prove she can win at a high level. Gauff seems to be on the back end of her year, and maybe not putting in the type of effort she was before the Majors season wrapped up. I’ll take the upset in this match.

That being said, Anisimova winning is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/the best odds: Anisimova winning @2.04 @Unibet

Main Photo Credit: Sam Greene-USA TODAY Sports

The WTA Beijing is nearing completion.
