However, the new streak he has created this year has got the whole tennis community talking. Since his loss to <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2025\/06\/25\/holger-rune-opens-online-shop-sells-broken-rackets-7000\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Holger Rune<\/a> at the Monte Carlo Masters, Alcaraz has not been defeated on tour with his winning streak touching 23 wins. This is the joint 6th longest winning streak of the 21st century as he joins Juan Martin Del Potro who had a similar winning streak in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>The five winning streaks in line ahead of Alcaraz are:<br \/>\n43-<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2025\/07\/06\/novak-djokovic-main-factorsmental-health-struggles\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"> Novak Djokovic<\/a> (2010-11)<br \/>\n41- Roger Federer (2006-07)<br \/>\n32- Rafael Nadal (2008)<br \/>\n28- Andy Murray (2016-17)<br \/>\n26- Jannik Sinner (2024-25)<\/p>\n<h2>How many wins does Alcaraz need to cross Djokovic<\/h2>\n<p>The calculations are done and for the Spaniard to cross the all-time record of Djokovic&#8217;s 43 wins he has to win a few big upcoming events. If Alcaraz ends up winning the Wimbledon he will make it to 25 wins on the bounce. He will then have to also win the Toronto Masters, Cincinnati Masters and the US Open to add another 19 wins to his name and make it a total of 44 wins on the bounce. He has won 5 titles and has lost the same number of matches in 2025. He has shown a sign of peak form in the last couple of months and if he continues this way he might break a few streaks ahead of him while aiming for the pinnacle.
