Last week in London, Moutet upset him in the opening round in three tight sets. A week before, Fritz won the title in Stuttgart. He is the defending champion in Eastbourne. He defeated Purcell last season in the final. This week in Eastbourne, Fritz defeated Fonseca in the opening round in three tight sets. After playing two hours, he won against the Brazilian 7-5 in the deciding set. In the quarterfinals, he won against Giron in three tight sets after spending almost three hours on the court. In the deciding set, Fritz served great, not offering any breakpoints.

Today, in the semifinals, the American won against Davidovich Fokina in three sets. Besides losing the second set 3-6, Fritz dominated throughout the match. He hopes for his 10th ATP career title. Fritz has already won four ATP titles on grass.

Jenson Brooksby has won four of his last five matches. This week in Eastbourne, Brooksby failed to qualify for the main draw tournament. However, with several players withdrawing from the tournament, the Brit entered the main draw tournament as a lucky loser. In the main draw tournament, the Brit defeated Comesana in straight sets. In the second round, Brooksby defeated Borges in straight sets. He offered only two breakpoints throughout the match. After winning against Comesana and Borges, the Brit defeated Evans in the quarterfinals 6-2 6-3. He offered no breakpoints and dominated from the start until the end. His last appearance in Eastbourne was in 2022 when he lost against Draper in the opening round.

Today in the semifinals, Brooksby upset Humbert in three tight sets. After losing the opening set 6-7, the Brit stepped up his level and turned the match around. With that win, Brooksby became the first lucky loser to reach the final in tournament history. Earlier this season, he won his ATP maiden title in Houston, defeating Tiafoe in the final. This will be his fourth ATP final and second ATP final on grass.

Best Bets to Make

Main Bet

According to the bookies, Fritz is the big favourite in this matchup, but we disagree. Brooksby is playing without any pressure this week after entering the main draw as a lucky loser. He defeated solid grass-court players en route to the final. We expect him to play once again without any pressure and keep this match tight.

That being said, Brooksby covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Jenson Brooksby +3.5 games handicap @1.83 @bet365

Extra Bet

Taylor Fritz has played three matches in less than 48 hours. Wimbledon is just around the corner, and we expect him to be careful coming into this match. On the other hand, Brooksby has already won one ATP title this season and will enter this match with confidence. If you love to take risks, we believe Brooksby has a solid chance of winning the title tomorrow against Fritz.

That being said, Brooksby winning is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Jenson Brooksby winning @3.75 @bet365

Main Photo Credit: Mike Frey-Imagn Images

ATP 250 Eastbourne final Fritz – Brooksby: 28.06.2025 17:00 CEST H2H: 1-1 Taylor Fritz has won four of his last five matches.
