His game seems to be featuring a little bit more punch on grass right now, which is needed as on clay he was basically forced to only extract errors with the slice at this stage of his career. Yes, Frances Tiafoe is coming off a huge <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/category\/french-open\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Roland Garros<\/a> run. But first match on grass, slices through the forehand&#8230; Evans might be onto something here.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Evans in 3<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Jacob Fearnley vs Alex Bolt<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Head-to-head<\/strong>: First meeting<\/p>\n<p>Purely in terms of grass-court experience it&#8217;s very hard to match what Alex Bolt has under his belt with way over 100 showings on the surface in his career. Pulling off the comeback win over Christopher O&#8217;Connell in the final qualifying round was a great effort, but this looks like a difficult encounter. After all, Jacob Fearnley plays such a heavy game and is very much in his element on grass himself. Meanwhile, Jakub Mensik is more or less an unknown quantity on grass after going just 2-5 last year. He&#8217;s improved a lot since, but the low bounce could be an issue for his forehand if he&#8217;s not confident enough to be blasting through it.
