She has won five opening matches this week in Paris without dropping a single set. In the opening round, Sabalenka lost only one game against Rakhimova. She demolished Teichmann and Danilovic in the second and third rounds. Her most formidable challenge came in the 1/8-Finals. Anisimova put up a big fight against Sabalenka. The world number 1 won against Anisimova 7-5 6-3. In the quarterfinals, Sabalenka defeated Zheng in straight sets. She trailed 2-4 in the opening set. But turned it around. Yesterday, in the semifinals, Sabalenka upset Swiatek in three sets. After losing the second set 4-6, she stepped up her level and demolished Swiatek 6-0 in the deciding set. Last season at the French Open, Sabalenka lost against Andreeva in the quarterfinals in three tight sets.

Coco Gauff has won six straight matches. En route to the 1/8-Finals, Gauff defeated Gadecki, Valentova and Bouzkova in straight sets. In the 1/8-Finals, she won against Alexandrova in straight sets. In the deciding set, she served great, losing only two points on her serve and not offering any breakpoints. Yesterday, in the semifinals, Gauff defeated Boisson in straight sets almost within an hour. Boisson fumbled under pressure, making 33 unforced errors throughout the match. Last season at the French Open, Gauff lost against Swiatek in the semifinals.

Best Bets to Make

Main Bet

According to the bookies, Sabalenka is the favourite in this matchup, and we agree. She defeated the biggest favourite, Iga Swiatek, 6-0 in the deciding set in the semifinals. Sabalenka played great under pressure and deservedly upset Swiatek. On the other hand, Gauff had a favourable draw so far in Paris. Earlier this season in Madrid, Sabalenka defeated Gauff on clay under similar conditions in straight sets. We expect a similar outcome tomorrow.

That being said, Sabalenka covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Aryna Sabalenka -3.5 games handicap @1.83 @bet365

Extra Bet

We expect Gauff to struggle on her serve and Sabalenka to put pressure on her serve from the beginning of the match. In her semifinal match against Boisson, Gauff lost at least one point in every game of the opening set. Sabalenka serves great, and we expect her to win at least one point in every game in the opening set.

That being said, Sabalenka winning at least one point in every game of the opening set is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Aryna Sabalenka to win 1+ points in every game in set 1 @-165 @FanDuel

Main Photo Credit: Susan Mullane-Imagn Images

WTA French Open final Sabalenka – Gauff: 07.06.2025 15:00 CEST H2H: 5-5 Aryna Sabalenka has won six straight matches.
