Aryna Sabalenka leads the charge against Kamilla Rakhimova, while Dayana Yastremska faces Destanee Aiava in a power duel. We have all the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/category\/predictions\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">predictions for the French Open action<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Aryna Sabalenka vs. Kamilla Rakhimova<\/h3>\n<p>Steen Kirby: 34-6 on the year and the champion in Madrid, Sabalenka is a top contender for the title despite never previously reaching a Roland Garros final. Rakhimova has never beaten Sabalenka, she&#8217;s just 2-7 at tour level. Rakhimova would need to play at a level we haven&#8217;t seen from her to get this upset. <strong>Sabalenka in 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jordan Reynolds: Rakhimova will try to frustrate Sabalenka by extending the rallies. I do not think she has a realistic chance of preventing the world No. 1 from routinely hitting through her. Aiava is just 5-15 in her career at Tour level, she&#8217;s spent most of her career at the ITF level and her game and experience on clay is extremely limited. Yastremska should get the job done with controlled tennis. <strong>Yastremska in 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jordan: Yastremska is inconsistent, always making her a possible candidate for an upset. However, this is a good draw for her on paper. This result comes as a bit of a surprise, but Teichmann is just ranked 98 and is beatable despite formerly being a tour regular. Teichmann is just 2-6 at tour level this year, but on clay you would favor her to advance. <strong>Teichmann in 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Jordan: Stefanini sealed a maiden French Open main draw appearance by winning three matches in qualifying. Teichmann has not been in great form and this could be the ideal opening round match for the Italian.
