Arthur Rinderknech vs Hubert Hurkacz<\/h4>\n

Head-to-head<\/strong>: Hurkacz 3-0<\/p>\n

Grabbing main tour wins has been difficult for Arthur Rinderknech this year and he’s at a comfortable position in the rankings only due to results from the latter half of 2024. Even this first-round victory over Miomir Kecmanovic must mean a lot. His playstyle isn’t what typically helps you succeed on clay, but especially in the Geneva conditions he can be dangerous. The weapons still bite and he can protect that backhand corner a bit better. Serving well will be a requirement here and Hubert Hurkacz still has the edge, but a close scoreline is likely.

Cameron Norrie vs Tomas Machac<\/h4>\n

Head-to-head<\/strong>: Norrie 1-0<\/p>\n

Regardless of what you think about Cameron Norrie’s draw in Geneva so far, having three straight-set wins under his belt can’t be bad. It’s also been a very quiet clay season for Tomas Machac, who was the runner-up at this venue last year and is now defending these points. The conditions suit his attacking game, but he’s been struggling to stay fit over the last few months. Norrie will probably start well and then we’ll see if Machac finds the response. He’s got the higher upside<\/a> but needs to play one of his best matches in months.
