There are a lot of matches scheduled for Thursday and it promises to be an exciting day of tennis. As ever, we at LWOT preview and predict the matches scheduled for you.<\/p>\n<h2>ATP Madrid Day 2 Predictions<\/h2>\n<h4>Marcos Giron vs Learner Tien<\/h4>\n<p>Head-to-head &#8211; First Meeting<\/p>\n<p>Both players enter this tournament with little confidence on the clay courts as neither managed to win consecutive matches on the trot this year on clay. Marcos Giron is higher ranked and he would feel good about his chances against Learner Tien who will find it tough to hit through on the slow courts in Madrid. Expect Giron to be more aggressive and get the win.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Giron in 3<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Tallon Griekspoor vs Vit Kopriva<\/h4>\n<p>Head-to-head &#8211; First Meeting<\/p>\n<p>It will be interesting to see how well Tallon Griekspoor plays this week as he has built good momentum on the clay courts this year. He takes on Hamad Medjedovic who has had good results in the past month or so and the young Serb will look to capitalise on that. Expect a tight match with the Serb winning with his assured attacking game style.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Medjedovic in 3<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Jan-Lennard Struff vs Botic van de Zandschulp<\/h4>\n<p>Head-to-head &#8211; Struff 1-1 Zandschulp<\/p>\n<p>Jan-Lennard Struff has had a disastrous 2025 season so far and the clay court season hasn&#8217;t been kind to him either. The German now faces <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2021\/09\/07\/botic-van-de-zandschulp-next-aslan-karatsev\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Botic van de Zandschulp<\/a>, who is building up some momentum having reached the Round of 16 in Munich last week.
