Krueger is in her second Round of 16 in a row, but fell to Qinwen Zheng in Miami. The last and only time these two women have matched up was a clay court match in the ITF back in 2023, which went to Navarro in straight sets.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Navarro as a slight favorite, and I am inclined to agree. Navarro is 112-56 lifetime on clay, Kreuger is 31-23 on the same surface. There are levels here. If you think I am wrong and want to bet $100 on Krueger at +130, you’ll bring home $230, but that same $100 on Navarro would bring back $160 total. You can make money either way, I just happen to think the smart money is on the veteran.

That being said, Navarro winning is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Navarro winning @-153 @Betway

Anisimova – Putintseva: Time 17:00

H2H: 2-1

Amanda Anisimova and Yulia Putintseva have a solid and fairly recent history against one another. Anisimova won the last time they met in Seoul back in 2024, but more importantly, she also beat Putintseva on this very court in 2022. Putintseva is a clay court master with a lifetime record of 161-88 and has gone 36-19 on clay since 2022. Anisimova is 51-26 and is 16-9 on clay in that same timespan, with the aforementioned victory over Putintseva in Charleston.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Anisimova as a slight favorite, and I agree, but tepidly. There’s enough on paper for some people to believe Putintseva can win an upset. At 2.8, one could almost triple their money if Putintseva plays up to her capabilities at Charleston. The books have Anisimova as a slight favorite, but you could make a small bit of money betting on her, if you wish. Anisimova is 1.45, so it’s not quite the 1.5 value I aim for, but I don’t hate it.

That being said, Putintseva winning is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Putintseva winning @+180 @BetVictor

Alexandrova – Shnaider: Time 18:00

H2H: 0-0

Diana Shnaider vs Ekaterina Alexandrova is an extremely difficult match to peg down. At first glance, one would assume that Shnaider is going to take this match, but then I look at her recent matches and she simply isn’t performing well. In their last ten matches, Alexandrova is 6-4 while Shnaider is 4-6. If you remove the Kudermetova sisters, Alexandrova is 6-2 in her last eight with wins over Emma Raducanu, Aryna Sabalenka, Jessica Pegula, and Elise Mertens. Seems odd to bet against that.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Shnaider winning, and I disagree. Still, she offers solid value at -125 on several sites. A $100 bet would bring you home $180, and you get to pick the favorite. Should you fancy an upset, Alexandrova also offers fantastic value at 2.05, meaning you’d double your money if she wins.
