This development follows reports from October 2024 indicating that Endeavor, the parent company of IMG, was considering the sale of certain assets, including the Madrid and Miami Opens. In conjunction with this bid, plans are underway to enhance the facilities at Rome\u2019s Foro Italico, the traditional venue for the Italian Open. Proposed upgrades include the expansion of the Stadio dei Marmi, featuring the construction of a new \u2018SuperTennis Arena<\/a>\u2019 with a seating capacity of 6,500, alongside two additional courts accommodating around 700 spectators each.
