Daniel Altmaier has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Rotterdam, Daniel surprisingly reached the quarterfinals. He eventually lost against de Minaur in straight sets, as we had predicted. Daniel won the opening round against Nardi in straight sets this week in Marseille, losing only four games. He offered and saved four breakpoints. In the second round, Altmaier also won against Virtanen in straight sets. It is his first appearance in Marseille.<\/p>\n

According to the bookies, Medjedovic is the big favorite in this matchup, and we agree. Hamad played great this week in Marseille. He had a tough second-round draw, winning against Khachanov. Ugo Humbert has won four of his last five matches. The last match he played was in the Davis Cup, where he won against Fonseca in straight sets. It is his fourth appearance in Marseille, where he is the defending champion. In his opening match, Humbert won against Bublik in straight sets, as we predicted.<\/a> Last year, he won the title against Dimitrov in the final in straight sets. This week, he hopes for a solid result to cement his top 20 status.<\/p>\n
