Second seed Lorenzo Musetti and fourth seed Arthur Fils are the highest-ranked players remaining, but who will reach Saturday&#8217;s semifinals?<\/p>\n<h2>ATP Hong Kong Quarterfinal Predictions<\/h2>\n<h4>Arthur Fils vs Alexandre Muller<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Head-to-head:<\/strong> Muller 1-0 Fils<\/p>\n<p>Fils got his revenge three years after losing to Zizou Bergs in a <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/category\/atp-challenger-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Challenger<\/a> event. It wasn&#8217;t a vintage performance, but he&#8217;ll be pleased with powering through in straight sets. He&#8217;s got another score settle against countryman Alexandre Muller who defeated him when they last met in Rome last season. This week though, Fils appears to be on mission to silence some of his critics who questioned his motivation and ambition at the NextGen Finals.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Fils in 2<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Lorenzo Musetti vs Jaume Munar<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Head-to-head:<\/strong> Munar 3-1 Musetti<\/p>\n<p>Much of the pre-tournament talk in Hong Kong centered around Musetti&#8217;s new haircut. But it appears people will be raving of his tidy performance against the dangerous Gabriel Diallo. The Italian did not drop a single service game and neutralized Diallo&#8217;s serve with his vast skillset. He fashioned 10 break point chances and converted three.<\/p>\n<p>Munar&#8217;s presence in the quarterfinal of a hard-court tournament is a great surprise, but he&#8217;s earned it by beating compatriot Davidovich Fokina and the rapidly-improving Nuno Borges. A closer look at the head-to-head makes for interesting reading as Munar has won three of the four meetings against Musetti. But that was on clay where the Spaniard shines. Back then, he lost to eventual champion Rublev. Marozsan ensured there will be no sequel to that match this week after his sensational three-set win over the Russian. Shang and Marozsan met as recently as November in Belgrade where the Hungarian won a dramatic first-round clash 7-5 in the third. Marozsan has the stamina to withstand another marathon, but home comfort slightly favors Shang.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Shang in 3<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Kei Nishikori vs Cameron Norrie<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Head-to-head:<\/strong> Nishikori 2-0 Norrie<\/p>\n<p>Nishikori has rolled back the years at this week&#8217;s Hong Kong Open. Wins over Denis Shapovalov and third seed Karen Khachanov have rekindled his confidence and all over a sudden he is a contender for the title. Cameron Norrie started the year with an unremarkable three-match losing run in Tour-level matches.<\/p>\n<p>The British lefty pushed the reset button and broke the jinx with two morale-boosting victories against Learner Tien and Lorenzo Sonego. Nishikori is gaining serious momentum and a return to the Top 100 is now imminent. He&#8217;s playing elite tennis this week and his body is cooperating.
