The tennis tournaments at the Paris Olympics continue with 14 women\u2019s singles matches on Sunday. The quest for Gold features some of the top players in the sport. As always, we here at LastWordOnTennis will predict all matches for you. We split the 14 matches into four articles. The other articles feature Coco Guaff vs Ajla Tomljanovic<\/a>, Caroline Wozniacki vs Mayar Sherif<\/a> and Jessica Pegula vs Viktoriya Golubic<\/a>. Paris Olympics Women’s Day 2 Predictions<\/h2>\n

Xinyu Wang (China) vs Tamara Korpatsch (Germany)<\/h4>\n

Yesh<\/em>
\nNeither woman seems in great form at the moment, so don\u2019t expect too much this week. Still, one of them is reaching the second round. On clay, I\u2019ll guess the German, but I\u2019m not confident.
\nPrediction: Korpatsch in 3<\/em><\/p>\n

Jordan<\/em>
\nKorpatsch is enduring a torrid season. It is probably not the ideal time to play Wang, who reached the Wimbledon fourth-round a few weeks ago, beating Jessica Pegula along the way. The Chinese player should be able to exploit Korpatsch\u2019s vulnerabilities this season.
\nPrediction: Wang in 2<\/em><\/p>\n

Ekaterina Alexandrova (Neutral) vs Yue Yuan (China)<\/h4>\n

Yesh<\/em>
\nAlexandrova has pretty quietly made herself into a top player. I don\u2019t think Yuan has any weapons that can hurt her.
\nPrediction: Alexandrova in 2<\/em><\/p>\n

Jordan<\/em>
\nNeither player thrives on clay. Of the two, Alexandrova has been slightly better on the dirt. Her movement is very vulnerable on clay, but I doubt Yuan is good enough to take advantage of that. Alexandrova to progress in straight sets.
