Ruusuvuori is one of those players you feel should be ranked a lot higher than his current position. Injuries have not helped him in that regard and he lacked momentum going into the big events. His only win since the end of February was an impressive one because he defeated Brazilian clay-court specialist Thiago Seyboth Wild at the Turin Challenger<\/a> last week. The Finn has a poor record against Giron (0-3), losing in their most recent clash at the 2024 Italian Open. But it is pertinent to note that the American was equally in dreadful form before Rome, losing four straight matches. There is little to separate them in their rematch and we are likely to get three sets in this one.

Aslan Karatsev vs Flavio Cobolli<\/h4>\n

Head-to-head:<\/strong> first meeting<\/p>\n

Flavio Cobolli is destined to break the Top 50. In fact two wins in Geneva could help him do it. Last week he came within a few games from defeating Sebastian Korda in Rome. Aslan Karatsev has not played a lot of tennis this year. He suffered a serious knee injury in Brisbane which required surgery. After spending nearly four months rehabbing, he’s resurfaced in time for Roland Garros playing two clay-court tournaments before Geneva. Still, it’s too early to expect the Russian to find any rhythm here.
