He’s more experienced at this event and is more proficient on this surface than Yannick Hanfmann, who thrives better on clay. Surprisingly, the German defeated Emil Ruusuvori in the previous round, but this will be a different level.

Prediction: Mannarino in 3

[tgdcta items=”1″ id=”170468″]

Alex De Minaur vs Soonwoo Kwon

Head–to–Head: De Minaur 1 vs 1 Kwon

Soonwoo Kwon hadn’t won a match in over a year before he shockingly defeated Frenchman Alexandre Muller in straight sets to bag his first win of the season. Even though they’ve traded wins previously, there won’t be any more surprises this time, as he squares up against one of the most in-form players on tour this season. De Minaur should wrap this up pretty quickly.

Prediction: De Minaur in 2

Embed from Getty Images

Grigor Dimitrov vs Alejandro Tabilo

Head–to–Head: First Meeting

Alejandro Tabilo smashed 13 aces past Brandon Nakashima to score an unexpected, yet brilliant win on his debut in Miami. The Toronto-born Chilean now faces an uphill task against a player who hasn’t lost consecutive matches since a second-round exit at Cincinnati last year. Dimitrov should cruise.

Prediction: Dimitrov in 2

Daniel Evans vs Christopher Eubanks

Head–to–Head: First Meeting

Daniel Evans was out-served by Lorenzo Sonego, pounded more double faults, and hit way fewer winners, yet managed to work by the Italian in Round 1. It was just his third win this season, and he now faces an equally subpar Christopher Eubanks. The American has won just twice all season and hasn’t tasted victory in his last four matches. That said, Evans hasn’t progressed past the second round of all the events he participated in this season. This trend looks set to continue in what should be a bounce-back spot for Eubanks on home soil.

Prediction: Eubanks in 3

[tgdcta items=”1″ id=”170476″]

Main Photo Credit: Dan Hamilton – USA TODAY Sports

On Day 4 at ATP Miami, the big guns are offloading, as Grigor Dimitrov and Alex De Minaur enter the fray.
