Although the last meeting of the pair was a three set match, Errani still managed to come out on top. American McNally will hope this first round match can help her gain back on the higher ranked player. Although higher ranked, Blinkova actually lost the last time these too met. Madrid 2023 in the first round. The Spaniard dominated the match on her home soil. This should give Parrizas-Dias confidence against the seeded player.
