Despite not playing since Wimbledon, Watanuki managed to break the Top 100 last week for the first time in his career with other players dropping points at the right time for him. The Japanese also had a bizarre opener in Washington, going 1-4 down to Wu Yibing in the first set before his opponent fainted and had to retire. Auger-Aliassime is still yet to find his groove this season, just one win under his belt since the end of March. The Canadian has to take this opportunity to regroup against Watanuki.<\/p>\n
