As always, we here at LWOT will do our best to predict all of the matches for you. We split the matches already set for Thursday between three articles. In addition to this article, the others feature Barbora Krejcikova vs Mirra Andreeva and Elena Rybakina vs Alize Cornet. Predicting these matches are Jordan Reynolds, Shane Black, and Manuel Traquete. Who do you think will win?

Wimbledon Day 4 Women’s Predictions

Kaja Juvan vs Anastasia Potapova

Jordan:
Both women won comfortably in the first round. Potapova is the 22nd seed. But I’m backing Juvan to pull off a slight upset. The Solvenian has reached the third round in the last two years and I think Anastasia Potapova’s style isn’t perfectly suited to grass, so she could be vulnerable.
Prediction: Juvan in 3

Shane:
Anastasia Potapova and Kaja Juvan will square off for the first time after thoroughly dominating their Round 1 opponents. Both women have little grass-court experience, yet have played well on the surface this year. I give the slight edge to Potapova, who can rely on her tour-level experience against the qualifier.
Prediction: Potapova in 3

Manuel:
Juvan had a great run through qualifying and the first round, but she’s unlikely to make it any further here. Potapova is ranked more than 200 places above her and is generally the much better and more consistent player.
Prediction: Potapova in 2

[cta id=445 type=cta]

Jaqueline Cristian vs Beatriz Haddad Maia

Jordan:
Haddad Maia suffered a scare in the opening round, winning 6-4 in the third. Her opponent will be feeling confident after registering her first ever win at Wimbledon. It could be a dangerous match but I think Haddad Maia will raise her level in this round.
Prediction: Haddad Maia in 2

Shane:
No. 13 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia recovered from a set down to win her Round 1 match. The lefty is tough to get a read on the grass and seems to come out with a different level each time she steps on the court. Jaqueline Cristian picked up her first career grass-court victory earlier this week. Haddad Maia should be able to dictate the pace and force Cristian into many errors.
Prediction: Haddad Maia in 2

Manuel:
Haddad Maia has a great run to the semis in Roland Garros and will be looking to have another deep run here. Grass isn’t really as kind a surface for her as clay, but she should at least be able to make it through this second round here.
Prediction: Haddad Maia in 3

Embed from Getty Images

Natalija Stevanovic vs Tamara Korpatsch

Jordan:
Stevanovic delivered one of the shocks of the first round, easily beating Karolína Plíšková. Korpatsch picked up her first ever win at SW19 and is a gritty competitor, but I’m backing Stefanovich to ride the momentum of her first round.
Predictions: Stevanovic in 2

Shane:
Qualifier Natalija Stevanovich and lucky loser Tamara Korpatsch are on the verge of reaching their first Slam third round. Stevanovich pulled off one of the early upsets of the tournament, dispatching Karolina Pliskova. I’ll ride with the hot hand and take the Serb.
Prediction: Stevanovic in 3

Manuel:
This is a rare Slam matchup between two players outside the Top 100 and it should be extremely close. Stevanovic should be extremely high on confidence after her stunning upset of Pliskova in the opening round and that might just prove enough for her to make it through and continue her run here.
Prediction: Stevanovic in 3

Embed from Getty Images

Aryna Sabalenka vs Varvara Gracheva

Jordan:
Frenchwoman Gracheva was terrific in her first round win over former quarterfinalist Camila Giorgi. She deserves the full focus of Sabalenka, but the #2 seed looked in great form in the first round, and I don’t think the Frenchwoman can challenge even at her best.
Prediction: Sabalenka in 2

Shane:
Aryna Sabalenka looks to continue her dominant year in Round 2 at Wimbledon. She takes on Varvara Gracheva, who won her first career Wimbledon match earlier this week. Gracheva has minimal experience on the grass. Although it is not Sabalenka’s best surface, she should be able to power her way past the Frenchwoman.
Prediction: Sabalenka in 2

Manuel:
Sabalenka has a chance to become World #1 after this tournament, and after the disappointment of her Roland Garros campaign she’ll be eager to get going at Wimbledon and should make light work of Gracheva.
Prediction: Sabalenka in 2

Main Photo Credit: Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

The Wimbledon schedule has been modified due to rain, but there are still plenty of women’s matches scheduled for Day 4.
