This is surely one of the weakest fields we&#8217;ll see in a WTA event this year, which also means a great opportunity for some less fancied players to get a significant result. Who do you think will advance?<\/p>\n<h2>WTA Bogota Day 2 Predictions<\/h2>\n<h4>Emiliana Arango vs Harmony Tan<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Head-to-head:<\/strong> Tan 1-0 Arango<\/p>\n<p>Both players are ranked outside the Top 200, which is extremely rare to say the least for a WTA level matchup. Tan had the best moment of her career last year at <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/wimbledon\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Wimbledon<\/a>, when she beat Serena Williams on Center Court, but she hasn&#8217;t really kicked on since. Given the surface and current form, however, it&#8217;s fair to say Brancaccio has the slight advantage here; she has far more experience and better results playing on clay and she&#8217;s been overall playing at a higher level so far this year.<br \/>\n<strong>Prediction:<\/strong> Brancaccio in 2<\/p>\n<h4>Tamara Zidansek vs Reka-Luca Jani<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Head-to-head:<\/strong> first meeting<\/p>\n<p>Despite the proximity in ranking, it wasn&#8217;t that long ago that Zidansek was ranked #22 and playing in a Slam semifinal. Her ranking definitely undersells her potential and level of play.
