Who do you think will advance to the next stage of the event?<\/p>\n<h2>WTA Miami Day 2 Predictions<\/h2>\n<h4>Amanda Anisimova vs Madison Brengle<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Head-to-head: <\/strong>1-1<\/p>\n<p>Madison Brengle beat Amanda Anisimova in Dubai last year, which was a sizeable upset at the time. The youngster was <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2022\/01\/21\/amanda-anisimova-career-victory-naomi-osaka\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">in much better form<\/a> back then, but so was her opponent. With Brengle&#8217;s very passive playstyle, this one should really depend on Anisimova&#8217;s disposition. Her chances don&#8217;t look great. The Italian has generally struggled to leave a big mark on the tour in the long run and she&#8217;s facing an incredible talent. But it feels like if you&#8217;re well-equipped to handle her gimmick, you&#8217;re going to handle her somewhat comfortably. That&#8217;s what Marketa Vondrousova has done twice in her career so far. She&#8217;s been showing that constantly all season and that includes a quarterfinal appearance in Indian Wells last week. She&#8217;s also played two matches in Miami already, crushing Kristina Kucova and Heather Watson.
