Who do you think will come out on top?<\/p>\n<h2>ATP Indian Wells Day 2 Predictions<\/h2>\n<h4>Thanasi Kokkinakis vs Brandon Holt<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Head-to-head: <\/strong>First meeting<\/p>\n<p>Brandon Holt has been surprisingly good at the biggest events he&#8217;s played in his career so far (last year&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/us-open\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">US Open<\/a> and this year&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/australian-open\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Australian Open<\/a>), but he still can&#8217;t really put together solid results at the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/category\/atp-challenger-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Challenger<\/a> level. Thanasi Kokkinakis has been incredible in the past two months or so and it looks like this year he&#8217;ll actually perform well outside Australia too for a change. A repeat is very unlikely, mostly as Quentin Halys has a very different playstyle to the American and this match should be really serve-based. In fact, Albert Ramos-Vinolas lost his opening match here only once and that was as a seeded player in the second round. A slower hard court doesn&#8217;t bother him at all because he&#8217;s got a lot of time to set up for his strokes (which could be very helpful at this stage of his career as well) and he&#8217;s got the power to hit through any conditions anyway.
