None of the top seeds will be in action on day 1 of the tournament, but there should still be a lot of exciting matches with unpredictable outcomes. All five matchups will be occurring for the first time ever, which makes for some interesting predictions. Who do you think will win?<\/p>\n<h2>ATP Doha Day 1 Predictions<\/h2>\n<h4>Aslan Karatsev vs Jason Kubler<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Head-to-head:<\/strong> first meeting<\/p>\n<p>The two players seem to be on opposite places right now: while Kubler has been steadily rising, Karatsev has been on free fall ever since his <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2021\/02\/13\/aslan-karatsev-remarkable-rise\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">hot early 2021 run<\/a>. The 39-year-old Spaniard has only won 13 ATP matches since the beginning of 2020 and he could really use a good run to gain some momentum back.
