Kanepi is a veteran of the circuit with 24 years as a pro now, but she remains a very difficult opponent for anyone on any given day. She beat Badosa when they faced at Miami 2019, but things are very different now: Badosa might still struggle<\/a> at Grand Slam level, where she has a single quarterfinal appearance, but she’s one of the most regular players at tour level and even reached #2 in the rankings last year. She’ll undoubtedly come into this match as the favorite, even if Kanepi still has enough quality to defeat high ranked opponents on her day.
