The Frenchman is on a fine run post US Open and his first round ousting of Marin Cilic indicates he intends to continue doing so. It&#8217;ll be worth remembering that the Spaniard is still very young and it can take some time for him to process the things happening around him. What is not in doubt though is the fighting ability of Alcaraz and that&#8217;s what will separate him in moments like these. The Spaniard struggled in his first-round match but he found a way to win and as long as he keeps doing that he should be fine. He takes on Botic van de Zandschulp, a player he&#8217;s already beaten with relative ease and the Spaniard is a far better player since.
