The heat has been a major factor this week as players have to be strong both mentally and physically to come out victorious. The match of the day on the WTA side is between 19-year-old Emma Raducanu<\/a> and 20-year-old Camila Osorio<\/a>. Donna Vekic will square off against 21-year-old Xiyu Wang<\/a> with a spot in the Citi Open quarterfinals on the line. Both Vekic and Wang are on the hunt for their second tour-level quarterfinal appearance of the year after dispatching their round one opponents in straight sets. Although Vekic favors the hard court as her favorite surface, this will be just her third match of the year on it. I do not see much separating the current form of these two players. I give the slight edge to Wang who has proven to be a better three-set player this season.
