Ramos-Vinolas won’t roll over, so the younger Spaniard will need to consistently play well to advance. I think he’ll do so. Easily. Alcaraz in 3

Damian Kust: Steady baseliners can still trouble Carlos Alcaraz from time to time (especially if the conditions will be on the heavier side), but it’s hard to imagine the youngster losing in this one. With all the power he has, this should be very much on his racket. Alcaraz in 3

Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Camilo Ugo Carabelli

Embed from Getty Images

Yesh: Felix Auger-Aliassime spotted his first-round opponent two sets before turning things around. I don’t think he’ll do that again. Auger-Aliassime in 3

Damian: Felix Auger-Aliassime finally scored a main draw win at Roland Garros, although it wasn’t pretty. Camilo Ugo Carabelli has a great baseline game and could trouble the Canadian, but the amount of easier points Auger-Aliassime will have thanks to his serve and forehand should suffice, even on a bad day. Auger-Aliassime in 4

John Isner vs Gregoire Barrere

Embed from Getty Images

Yesh: John Isner’s serve is clicking and he’s playing aggressive. It’s hard to beat him when that happens. Isner in 4

Damian: Gregoire Barrere played some inspired tennis against Taro Daniel, really feeding off the energy of the crowd. He’ll need it again to tackle John Isner, who was clinical in tie-breakers against Quentin Halys. Clay isn’t his best surface, but it will help him prolong the rallies against the American. Isner’s serve is going to be a force though, and he likes the bounce of these courts. Isner in 4

Aljaz Bedene vs Pablo Cuevas

Embed from Getty Images

Yesh: Neither of these guys are elite, but one will reach the third round of a Major.
