He has only won three matches all season, though he&#8217;ll surely take some confidence after going through qualifying here (with great difficulty). On hard court it should be a very different story, with Delbonis struggling massively on the surface&#8211;in fact he&#8217;s yet to win a match on hard courts this year&#8211;and Giron getting some very creditable results recently. It looks like the 36 year old&#8217;s time as a top level ATP player is over, but someone with his quality and experience can always have a strong week out of nowhere.
