Blinkova is arguably the better player, but Govortsova is in great form. She just reached the final of the WTA 125 event in Bastad, while Blinkova has yet to play again on clay since the grass season ended. Rakhimova, though, has not beaten a Top 100 player since the 2020 French Open last October. She&#8217;s had success on the ITF Tour this year. Unfortunately for the Greek, she&#8217;s built this run on the back of some very weak draws, even for ITF events. Gracheva has been struggling for wins recently, but she hasn&#8217;t been playing at all poorly in the process. Kristyna is certainly full of talent, but she has never quite found Karolina&#8217;s power or consistency. Sharma, meanwhile, is finally impressing. She was an NCAA standout six years ago, and just won her first WTA title in Charleston in April, defeating <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2020\/03\/04\/tunisia-ons-jabeur-meteoric-rise\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Ons Jabeur<\/a> in the process. Pliskova won this matchup two weeks ago at Wimbledon, but that was on grass.
