During his time at TCU the Brit became the top ranked male college player.<\/p>\n<p>Taking a look at his excellent results whilst there shows why he became the best college male player at TCU. In the 2014\/2015 season the Brit had a win\/loss ratio in singles of 28-11 and 26-12 in doubles.<\/p>\n<h3>Cameron Norrie&#8217;s University Career<\/h3>\n<p>The following year Norrie improved a little in the singles and didn&#8217;t play as much doubles. The\u00a0South African\u00a0born Brit had 28-8 in singles and 19-8 in the doubles which showed some improvement.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron Norrie came to the fore however in the 2016\/2017 season. The Brit was impressive with the 21-1 in singles, and 18-5 in doubles. The last two challenger events (<strong>Binghamton<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Lexington<\/strong>) saw the Brit take out seeds to make the final of the first and the semi final of the second.<\/p>\n<p>Binghamton saw Cameron Norrie win his first Challenger title and the only person able to end his run in Lexington was Australian <strong>John Millman<\/strong>, who destroyed the Brit in straight sets for the loss of only two games.<\/p>\n<p>Following on from these Challenger events the Brit has increased his ranking by 12 places to reach a career high of #187. Also in the final of Binghamton the Brit defeated Jordan Thompson, who famously put out the World number one<strong> Andy Murray<\/strong> at <strong>Queens Club<\/strong>.
