Look to the Frenchman to pull this one though as I feel he has more weapons at his disposal.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Mannarino in 5<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Steen:<\/em><br \/>\nMannarino finished the year in great form. Novak is likely a step below his level right now.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Mannarino in 4<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Damian:<\/em><br \/>\nBoth players have been up and down recently and this could be quite the rollercoaster. Adrian Mannarino\u2019s game should work well in fast conditions and he\u2019s also great at not giving the opponents comfortable balls to attack from. Moutet is coming off a very bad loss that showed he is mentally fragile and cracks under pressure easily.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Millman in 3<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Steen:<\/em><br \/>\nMoutet reached the semis in one of the warm up tournaments but Millman is playing at home and finished the year strong. It will be tough but I&#8217;ll back Millman to get the job done.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Millman in 5<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Damian:<\/em><br \/>\nOne of the highlights of the round? Could be, as <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2020\/01\/17\/corentin-moutet-momentum-australian-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Corentin Moutet<\/a> had a great week and John Millman often performs great down under. The Frenchman\u2019s junkballing style could work well against Millman, but the Aussie likes feeding off the energy of the crowd and should enjoy being cheered on by a big audience again.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Millman in 5<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[pickup_prop id=&#8221;4636&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h4>Cedrik-Marcel Stebe vs Felix Auger-Aliassime<\/h4>\n<p><em>Elias:<\/em><br \/>\nThe Canadian is coming off a final appearance, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2020\/02\/23\/five-finals-lost-auger-aliassime-more-to-come\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">once again falling just short<\/a>, so he will look to move past that very quickly and focus on a deep run. Stebe is a tricky opponent even though we haven&#8217;t seen much of him recently but don&#8217;t expect too much trouble.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Auger-Aliassime in 3<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Steen:<\/em><br \/>\nStebe is playing well, but it won&#8217;t be enough presuming Auger-Aliassime can recover quickly from one of the warm up tournament finals. The Canadian <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2019\/04\/16\/why-felix-auger-aliassime-will-be-the-greatest-player-of-his-generation\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">just has superior skills<\/a>.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Auger-Aliassime in 4<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Damian:<\/em><br \/>\nIs another final disappointment going to take its toll on the young Canadian? With each loss his anxiety will grow further and having to play five matches in four days won\u2019t help. He is a far better hard court player than Stebe but all the extra circumstances are pointing in the German\u2019s favor. Dimitrov is always dangerous while Cilic is one of those players that can serve bombs all day long. I honestly think Cilic lacks in consistency and Dimitrov has the skill to pass him all day long.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Dimitrov in 4<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Steen:<\/em><br \/>\nCilic leads the H2H 4-2, but that&#8217;s the only thing in his favour as he&#8217;s been struggling, 0-3 in his last three matches. Dimitrov is 5-3 in the same span and should move closer to evening the h2h.<br \/>\n<em>Prediction: Dimitrov in 5<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Damian:<\/em><br \/>\nWe know what these players can do when they\u2019re on, but how does that relate to their Monday performance? It\u2019s anyone\u2019s guess really; both have done great at Australia in the past but have been out of form for a long time now.
