In addition to this set of predictions, we are also predicting <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordontennis.com\/2019\/09\/22\/wta-tashkent-open-day-1-predictions-ostapenko-zavatska\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">four more matches<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>WTA Tashkent Open Day 1 Predictions<\/h2>\n<h4><strong>Harriet Dart vs Anna Kalinskaya<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Kalinskaya had an impressive summer, qualifying for both <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordontennis.com\/wimbledon\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wimbledon<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordontennis.com\/us-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">US Open<\/a>, and made a deep run in Washington in between. Begu, meanwhile, has struggled, and her ranking has fallen almost outside the Top 100. Begu is definitely the more talented player, but she hasn&#8217;t been playing up to her ability recently. Martincova, while not as talented, is in better form right now. Van Uytvanck, meanwhile, is a very talented player who can challenge those at the top of the game, and has been playing well all summer. She scored upset wins in <a href=\"https:\/\/buckeyeswire.usatoday.com\/2019\/08\/06\/former-buckeye-standout-francesca-di-lorenzo-scores-upset-in-premier-tennis-tournament\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Toronto<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/buckeyeswire.usatoday.com\/2019\/08\/27\/francesca-di-lorenzo-becomes-second-buckeye-in-history-to-win-us-open-match\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">US Open<\/a>. While she is capable of these feats, she currently sits at No. 141 in the world for a reason. She is not yet able to consistently perform at a top level. If she does, an upset is on the cards here.
