Day 2 at the Fever Tree Championships at Queen’s Club was a total rain-out. Not a single ball was struck, so the Day 3 schedule is the same as originally planned for Day 2. We already predicted<\/a> eight of the ten Day 2 matches<\/a>, so today’s set of predictions will only feature Wednesday’s remaining two matchups. Don’t worry, though. Assuming the weather is good and play moves on, we’ll be back to a full slate of predictions for Thursday’s matches.<\/p>\n

ATP Queen\u2019s Club Championships Day 3 Predictions<\/h2>\n

Mikhail Kukushkin vs Jeremy Chardy<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Head-to-head:<\/strong> 3-1 Kukushkin<\/p>\n

That head-to-head number can be a bit misleading, as two of Kukushkin’s wins came almost a decade ago. He did beat the Frenchman in Monaco this year, but that was on clay. Neither one of these players are at their best right now, and both can serve well on occasion. Still, I think that Chardy is just a bit more comfortable on grass, though Kukushkin is probably a hair better overall right now. This match will be tight, and will likely come down to whoever digs deeper in the crucial points.
