Here are my predictions for semifinals day at the 2019 Mutua Madrid Open.<\/p>\n<h2>Mutua Madrid Open Semifinal Predictions<\/h2>\n<h3>Kiki Bertens vs Sloane Stephens<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Head to head:<\/strong> Stephens leads 2-0<\/p>\n<p>A tough match to predict in terms of who will come out on top. Bertens pulled out an fantastic performance by upsetting Kvitova in convincing in the previous match, and will be the favorite for this semifinal. When she&#8217;s on she&#8217;s close to unbeatable&#8211;as evidenced by her <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordontennis.com\/us-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">US Open<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2017\/09\/09\/american-sloane-stephens-claims-first-ever-grand-slam-title-2017-us-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">title in 2017<\/a> and her <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordontennis.com\/french-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">French Open<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tennis\/2018\/06\/07\/french-open-womens-final-predictions-simona-halep-vs-sloane-stephens\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">final appearance last year<\/a>. Does she have enough in the tank and create back-to-back upsets here in Madrid?
