Her opponent in this round is Daria Kasatkina, a former top-10 player with an all-court game who could easily give Osaka trouble if Naomi is not on top of her game.

Best Bet to Make

Kasatkina is figuring out how to win matches, but she is not a dominant player. Her match wins at this WTA Wimbledon tournament have been complicated and not straightforward. Osaka is a step up in terms of the caliber of competition, and that’s why Osaka is a very clear favorite. It seems about right. You have some good betting options here. Osaka to win in straight sets is at 1.65. You could actually do that as a standalone bet or as a parlay piece. However, our recommended bet will be Kasatkina against the game spread. Osaka is just not a dominant grass tennis player. She usually runs into a wall when she gets to the third or fourth round of Wimbledon. She probably will win, but Kasatkina can cover the spread even if she loses by a fairly routine 6-4, 6-3 score. As long as it’s not a blowout, Kasatkina will cover.

That being said, betting on Kasatkina +5.5 games is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Kasatkina +5.5 games @1.70 @10bet

Bartunkova – Krejcikova: Time 9:30 EST

H2H: 0-0

This is a really good matchup in the WTA Wimbledon third round. We will also point out that we were accurate in our analysis of each of these players in the previous round. We thought Krejcikova would certainly win at least one set against Mirra Andreeva, and we thought that Bartunkova would win at least one set against Katerina Siniakova. Both players were undervalued in the markets because of overall rankings, but they were better on grass than on other surfaces, which played in their favor. Now these players meet each other. Krejcikova is a clear favorite at 1.52. We will comment on that in our best bet section below.

Best Bet to Make

The markets undervalued Krejcikova against Andreeva, but they also undervalued Bartunkova against Siniakova. Now, the markets don’t seem to be adjusting much with Bartunkova. They are giving Krejcikova a lot of respect, but Bartunkova is still being discounted a little with these prices. Bartunkova almost beat Aryna Sabalenka a few weeks ago in Berlin. She has a big serve and has a game which plays well on grass. She demolished Siniakova, so it’s a little surprising she isn’t being priced more evenly compared to Krejcikova. You can sprinkle a small amount of money on the over 2.5 sets bet, but the best bet, which is the most likely to cash, is Bartunkova to win at least one set. You’re getting a solid price for a result which has a good chance of happening.

That being said, betting on Bartunkova +1.5 sets is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Bartunkova +1.5 sets @1.67 @10bet

Muchova – Sawangkaew: Time 9:30 EST

H2H: 0-0

Mananchaya Sawangkaew did not play well in her first-round WTA Wimbledon match against Roland-Garros runner-up Maja Chwalinska. Sawangkaew was one point away from losing decisively. She was down a set and 5-2 and was about to be blown out. However, Chwalinska got injured and Sawangkaew was able to make her way back to win in three sets against an opponent who just couldn’t run fully or freely. Sawangkaew got lucky, but she made the most of her second chance in her next match. She won a close first set against Alycia Parks and then pulled away in the second set for a comfortable victory. Now she faces Karolina Muchova, a dangerous player who has played in a major final before and wants to make a run at the All-England Club.

Best Bet to Make

Muchova is by far the better player, and she is a good lawn tennis player as well, so there’s zero doubt who will win this match. The prices are appropriately weighted in Muchova’s favor, such that Muchova winning in straight sets won’t get you much of a price. You have to go to the game spread here. We are going to lean to the player who is expected to dominate the match. Muchova is that player. However, while we officially recommend Muchova against the game spread, we can also add that you can have Sawangkaew plus a larger spread of 6.5 or 7.5 games as a parlay piece. That way, you can potentially win two bets, not just one.

That being said, betting on Muchova -5.5 games is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Muchova -5.5 games @1.74 @1xbet

Liu – Gauff: Time 11:30 EST

H2H: 0-2

Coco Gauff is 2-0 against Claire Liu in her career, with both victories taking place on a hardcourt. Gauff also won both matches in straight sets. Liu enters this match at 5-1 on grass in 2026, and 27-11 overall. Liu is riding a five-game winning streak here at Wimbledon, but Gauff is easily the toughest opponent she’s faced in her last ten matches. While Liu is 8-2 in her last ten, most of those matches were in qualifying rounds at Wimbledon and the French Open. It’s not like Liu was playing deep into WTA events. In fact, she’s not gone further than the round of 16 in any WTA event this year.

Best Bet to Make

Gauff is a sizeable favorite for this match. While the average bet is about 1.11-6.88 in favor of Gauff, Liu goes as high as 8.1 on some books, while Gauff goes as low as 1.08 on another. Once again, there’s no reason to bank on any kind of upset in this match. Gauff might have had some early exits here and there, but Liu is probably not talented enough to knock her out in the tournament’s third round. I like Gauff winning, and winning easily.

That being said, betting on Gauff 5.5 games is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Gauff 5.5 games @1.85 @1xbet

Main Photo Credit: Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

WTA Wimbledon third-round play starts on Friday.
