Nuno Borges<\/span><\/span> has been one of the surprise packages of the week, reaching the semifinals without dropping a set. The Portuguese has served exceptionally well throughout the tournament, allowing him to hold comfortably and put constant pressure on his opponents. His all-round game has looked sharp, and he has used his experience effectively to navigate the draw with relative ease.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ethan Quinn<\/span><\/span> has also impressed despite coming into the event with a negative win-loss record in 2026. The young American possesses the bigger serve and has shown plenty of confidence this week, which should help him stay competitive. However, Borges is the more complete player from the baseline and has been remarkably consistent throughout the tournament. Quinn may be able to grab a set, but Borges’ experience and steadier ground game should help him edge through.<\/p>\n

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina<\/span><\/span> and Fabian Marozsan<\/span><\/span> look set for one of the most entertaining matches of the round. Both players are aggressive by nature and prefer to pull the trigger early in rallies rather than engage in long exchanges. Davidovich Fokina carried good form from Queen’s into this event and has backed it up with a series of strong performances. The Spaniard was particularly impressive in his quarterfinal victory over Grigor Dimitrov<\/a>, showing both consistency and attacking intent.<\/span><\/p>\n

Marozsan had to battle through a tougher opening match but has looked increasingly comfortable since then. The Hungarian’s flat groundstrokes are especially effective on grass, allowing him to take time away from opponents and dictate rallies. If his serve is firing, there is every reason to believe he can go toe-to-toe with Davidovich Fokina from the baseline and even come out on top. Expect a close contest with plenty of winners from both sides.<\/p>\n
