As ever, we preview and predict the final match for you, but will it be Tommy Paul or Francisco Cerundolo who comes out on top in West Kensington?

ATP Queen’s Club Final Prediction

Francisco Cerundolo vs Tommy Paul

Head-to-head: Cerundolo 5-2 Paul

Seventh seed Francisco Cerundolo takes on eighth seed Tommy Paul in what will be their eighth career meeting. Cerundolo leads the head-to-head 5-2, but this statistic may not mean much as the two have never faced each other on grass before. Given their playing styles, this first grass-court clash has all the ingredients of a thrilling final, with both men no doubt desperate to build momentum ahead of Wimbledon.

Cerundolo has traditionally produced his best tennis on clay, and his 2026 season has been solid so far without really catching alight. This week, however, he has shown that he can be dangerous on grass with his forehand firing him into the final. While he struggled a little on serve in the semifinals, he will be hoping to tidy up those issues ahead of the title match and will surely be pleased about having stayed the course in a hard-fought three-set win over Brandon Nakashima.

Paul has arguably been the standout player of the tournament at the ATP Queen’s Club Championships. The American has not dropped a set on his way to the final and has looked particularly strong on serve. That could prove crucial in helping him win free points and keep rallies short, with Paul looking formidable after wins over Zachary Zvajda, Botic van de Zandschulp, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, and Ugo Humbert to reach the final.

There should still be plenty of entertaining baseline exchanges, as both players are excellent movers and counter-punchers. That said, Paul’s stronger serve and flatter groundstrokes seem better suited to the grass courts. Expect a hard-fought battle, but Paul looks well placed to edge out Cerundolo and lift the ATP Queen’s Club trophy.

Prediction: Paul in 3

Main photo credit: Aaron Doster-Imagn Images

The ATP Queen’s Club Championships is down to its final day of tennis with just the two men remaining in contention for the all important trophy.
